Network detective making a difference for customers

Morgan Hammarborg works as a network engineer at Aranya, helping customers solve network challenges and ensure smooth operations. He did his professional internship at the company and has since developed his skills in a supportive and knowledge-sharing environment. For Morgan, relationships with both colleagues and customers are an important part of his job satisfaction.

As a network technician, Morgan works to ensure that customers’ networks are working properly. This can be anything from integrating a new server into the network to troubleshooting an access point that has stopped working. He finds the root cause and solution by analyzing the problem in a systematic way.

– It’s logical detective work, and in my years at Aranya I’ve seen it all. Like the cord that came loose on the access point in the kindergarten was most likely the result of a child kicking a ball on it.

Morgan highlights collaboration with colleagues as a key success factor. Being able to consult someone who has experience of similar problems makes it easier to find the answer quickly and ensure high quality delivery. The culture of acting directly and collaborating effectively are a couple of the reasons why Aranya can offer uniquely fast response times.

– Issues that can take days or weeks for others to handle are often resolved on the same day. We make sure nothing gets left behind, and our customers appreciate that.

Relationships that build trust

For Morgan, relationships with customers are a key part of the work experience. Many have been customers for a long time, both parties know each other well, and the cooperation is pleasant and relaxed.

– I am proud that we have such a good and trusting relationship with our customers, and it is nice to feel that you are making a positive contribution to their everyday lives.

Aranya has built a workplace where the customer is always at the center, but without compromising on employee development and work-life balance. Morgan did his internship at Aranya, and had the opportunity to get his first certificate even before he was hired. Since then, he has continued to build his skills.

– For me, it’s about one cert per year. No one talks about it costing money, but we are constantly encouraged to learn more and grow in our roles. I also appreciate that it is a modern workplace where it is natural to be able to prioritize a family member who needs support or is on parental leave.
