Aranya reaches climate neutrality through the Tropical Mix project
At Aranya, we believe that quality and climate responsibility go hand in hand. That’s why we are proud to announce that we are now climate neutral for 2024 – we have offset 100% of our carbon emissions through the certified Tropical Mix reforestation project.
A project that makes a real difference
Tropical Mix is far more than just tree planting. This certified climate project works strategically on reforestation and nature conservation in tropical regions, where every tree planted is also:
- Protecting biodiversity and threatened ecosystems
- Creating jobs and strengthening local economies
- Sequestering carbon effectively in fast-growing tropical forests
The result? Measurable climate benefits while building sustainable communities.
Our path to climate neutrality
Carbon offsetting is not our first choice – it is our last. We always start by reducing emissions at the source through digital meetings, energy-efficient technologies and environmentally smart transportation. But we also know that some emissions are unavoidable in today’s business landscape.
For the remaining emissions, we take full responsibility.
The numbers behind our climate work
In 2024, Aranya’s operations generated 386 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e ) – a figure we calculated according to the international GHG Protocol standard. Our measurements include:
- Scope 1: Direct emissions from our operations
- Scope 2: Emissions from energy use
- Scope 3: Indirect emissions from business travel, procurement and supply chain
We have now compensated for this entire amount with Tropical Mix.
“Carbon offsetting is not about buying your way out of responsibility – it’s about taking full responsibility. We see it as a natural part of our sustainability work, in parallel with our continuous efforts to reduce emissions from the ground up.”
Emil Persson, CEO of Aranya
